“Receiving this SEL4CA grant has made a meaningful difference for our students and staff here at Glenview Elementary. With this funding, we were able to create and supply a dedicated wellness room. A calm and supportive space where students and staff can practice mindfulness, regulate their emotions, and take a moment to reset when they need it most.
The grant has allowed our school to provide tools such as sensory items, art materials, and comfortable seating, all of which help students learn healthy coping strategies and return to class ready to learn. We are truly grateful for this support, as it has directly strengthened our ability to meet the social emotional needs of our students.
